Happy 4/13! Art by SnerkFlerks
Fresh off the musical oven that is my PowerMac G5, I present to you my latest single: Let Me Dance, Let Me Glisten. (Available first on the ScourgeQuest BandCamp. Coming soon to all other Flutterwhat channels.)
Inspired by many of the amazingly supportive and welcoming peeps in a certain “Homestuck nudist colony*”, This song is dedicated to Porrim Maryam, a character from Homestuck who is gorgeous and would most likely be the one to dance in clubs. I wanted this song to be my sexiest song yet!
This song is also my contribution to the beforusalbum, a fan album made to showcase songs about the dancsestor characters of Homestuck. They are currently recruiting musicians and artists!
Because I actually have a job now, and combined with the fact that I’m still using 10+ year old hardware, Progress on my songs has been much slower then ever before. ScourgeQuest III has stalled somewhat as i am hitting metaphorical walls because I am limited in time now as well as the previous software limitations.
* that colony being “Nudestuck”Here’s a sneak preview (ok so as a sneak preview it’s not actually so sneaky but w/e) of one of the great tracks that’ll be on the completed album! Everybody go give flutterwhat your support for being a fantastic musician, and check out their other works, including the wonderful Scourgequest albums!
Zelda toy photography has been quite popular on Instagram for some time now, especially thanks to the recent Figma and Nendroid figures. Even myself I’ve tried some attempts in the past (you can see my Hyrule Adventures here).
But last week the official Nintendo IG account highlighted an artist whose Zelda-themed pictures go far beyond anything I’ve seen in this field. I’m talking about CaptainDangerous. Her attention to the detail, lightning and scenery recreate the adventures of Link in the most amazing and inspiring way. Feast your eyes and follow her account on Instagram fore more.

‘Wanna play twister?’
‘Sure! I’ve never played!
‘Left foot red…
‘Did I win?’
You know, with the new update introducing claymation, we now know that the reason it took so long was because there was a medium he had yet to apply.
And it made me wonder, what if this is a new trend for Homestuck?
In six months, Andrew Hussie releases the next panels as beautiful watercolors.
A year from then, Andrew Hussie mails a lovingly hand-drawn animated flipbook to every Homestuck reader.
Three years pass. Andrew Hussie has an opening at an art gallery in downtown Manhattan, where he exhibits abstract mixed media sculptures and calls the whole show “Act Six.”
Another Five. Andrew Hussie tours the world with his ballet company. The man who plays Dave Strider is America’s new sweetheart.
After your kids have all left for college, you wake in the middle of the night. There is a noise. You walk downstairs, a baseball bat in your hands in case of an intruder. You turn on the lights. Andrew Hussie stands in your living room, surrounded by empty paint cans, replacing your curtains. What is this? you ask. The update, he says.
